Hello and welcome to Gimcheon High School of Arts.

Gimcheon High School of Arts is a high school with an artistic special focus, which was first founded in North Kyeongsang Province. We opened two courses, a music course with 16 major fields of study including piano major and vocal music major and an art course with 5 majors; Western painting major, Oriental painting major, design major, and animation major etc. Talented students, from Gimcheon and other areas, applied and were accepted to our school and we are trying to encourage the growth of both their artistic ability and good character development.
Since the opening of the school, many students have successfully passed the college entrance exams for Seoul National University and other prestigious Universities. In 2001, a major in popular music was added into the music course (popular song, instrumental music and composition) at the request of many people. We hope that many popular entertainers of the future will come from this course. We will try our best to be a trustworthy and favorable school.
